Marcy Denney/President /Master Stylist

A long-time resident of Jacksonville Florida, Marcy has been a highly sought after stylist for many years. Some clients have been with Marcy for over 30 years!

Marcy found her passion for precision cutting during her training at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in San Francisco. The years of experience have been rewarding and gratifying throughout her career. Marcy has been an innovator since the tight curl perms of the 70s, 80s big hair wave and rainbow of colors that made memories in the 90s. She is certified in Keratin and Bio Ionics smoothing treatment. She has represented herself during platform work at hair shows in addition to being on the design teams which inspired her creation of styles in the androgynous look.

She opened  her first studio with a partner named New Attitudes in San Marco and another location inAvondale. With that budding success, Marcy went solo when she went on to open  Blow Out Hair Studio in St. Johns Village in Avondale. In 1997, Blow Out Hair Studio moved to its current hip Riverside location.  Located just off the funky Five Points area where outdoor cafes, one-of-a-kind shopping, antique stores and other hotspots prevail; Blow Out Hair Studio adds to the vibe by specializing in a wide range of expertise including styling, color, nails, weddings and special events. Marcy’s expertise in cutting hair has won her many new clients, as her current clients serve as walking advertisements. Her vast experience and knowledge in cutting and color serves all her clients, as she works to make sure they leave feeling confident and beautiful.
